`Engine and Frame numbers'

Hello i know that on the FS-1es the engine and frame numbers match. On any other Classic yamahas do the engine and frame numbers not match. Is there a list or a place to look to see if the numbers match up or not or what they should be ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Most YAMAHA frame and engine numbers matched when leaving the factory unlike others like Kawasaki to name but one. What do you need to know? Is it DT125 related perhaps

Yeah its DT/RD related : D Is there some sort of database/list with all the explanations and decoding of the Yamaha engine and frame numbers ??
