I have a genuine fs1e handbook which i got off ebay. I have had a quote at a printers to have some good quality copies with the origanal colour fronts. I have a price for 50 75 and 100. (they get cheaper the more orderd) this is not a get rich quick scam for me. I would have loved to have had the chance for one of these.
I can cover my layout and expenses if i sold them at £10.00 each what do you think. I dont want to be well out of pocket and a box full of new handbooks.
any advice welcome

I'm not so sure it would de-value. I got a tatty one as part of my recent 394/2G0 purchase. If you look at the cost of NOS parts compared to the relatively large availability of pattern parts - you may find that the originals are worth more if there are more 'copies' in circulation?
I agree there is a chance it could de-value origanal copies, but if you havn't got one its nice to have the chance to complete a restoration. eg. if there was no such thing as pattern rear mudguards my concours standard ss would not be finished. its the only pattern part on it but it is needed at this time.
