Ok I have always toyed with the idea of building a bike then giving it away, however the person who I wanted to give the bike to has a load of cash so if he wants one he can buy one like we all have.
My plan now is to Raffle the bike using celbritys to aid the cause.
I intend building a Popsicle Purple FS1E using as many scrounged parts and services as possible,
So I need on the team a Chromer, and Engine Builder, A Wiring Guru, A Wheel Builder,
The rest I can deal with.
It is my intention too try and raise at least £3000.00 at £10.00 per ticket and donate to three charitys,
One of my closest friends has a baby that had a lot of help from the Great Ormond Street hospitial so thats mine.
Per has sadly had his nephew pass away this weekend after suffering a year long battle with leukaemia so that is obviously his.
The third is one of the Sixteener Special Forums admin team who has nomited his charity that saved his sons life.
I have to get a Small Lottery registration form before I can start selling tickets as the number has to be on the tickets.
If anyone is friends with any celebs we need all the help in promoting this as we can.
This is going to be a mint bike and one you would be proud to own in your collection and of course if you win the cheapest bike you will ever own.
Once I have the tickets I will let you know who and how to purchase them.
Appriciate your comments guys

Re: Listen up lads i've got a plan
I have had a chat with mr up in cumbria and the feeling is that if we sell a book of tickets for £10 thats £2.00 each we should in fact sell a lot more.
So thats that sorted

Re: Listen up lads i've got a plan
It is half built already just need to run it by Per as its his bike, I can always replace it with another frame and engine I have.
I am not sure if you are able to recoup your initial outlay or you just give the bike away?
It is my intention to get it to as many shows as possible before Billing!

Your best idea to date I'd say. I dont have any celeb friends unfortunately, but I'll certainly be purchasing some tickets.
