1977 fs1e import

Post by geoffnorton52 »

Hi, to all, advice required please, been offered a running 1977 fsie that has been imported from Europe, has logbook from other country but will need registering for UK, this is a restoration project but looks to be complete, any price indications, thanks, Geoff.

its difficult to price really - personally as it a european model to me it simply wont command as high a price when restored as a UK model and then having to put it on an age related plate might also cost you a little bit in total to get it done.
You dont state a price what they want for it but I certainly would not pay more than £500 for it and pay less if you can but again it also depends on its condition - the worse the condition the less I would pay if you know what I mean

I recently paid £995 on eBay for an early German "SS" fizzy (pardon the expression). It was in really good original condition and full of rare re-usable parts so worth the money in my opinion. My price guide would be up to £750 for the later model.
