Fuel Filter Placement

Hi All,

I had a problem with the odd partical getting into the carb so I purchased one of the Doctors Filters :P were to put it without spoiling the bike apperance :idea: so I put it here :P Bike has been fine ever since I was a bit unsure about how close to barrel but is no problem.

Thats exactly where i put them and no trouble with heat transfer from the barrel.

We tuck them out of sight inside the carb housing with an extra length of fuel pipe so that after a couple of tank fulls the filter can be dispensed with and the pipe pulled through without haviing to exchange it for a longer new one! ;) :roll:

Thats a much neater idea Per, and easier to replace, though i'm not sure i'd like to run without one. :?
