...we've had a count-up and we are now at about £2,600 so only £400 short of our target of £3,000.

Can anyone with outstanding pledges please let me have your cash asap! ;) 8-)

Ok I took the bike for MOT yesterday and left some tickets with the shop I have also been promised another £30 from Ray Lucas ( my car mechanic) Chris Doust (the quattro repair man) and Ross Heywood (the man next door), I am also taking it down the town again on wednesday night as its bike night so hopefully we can do it!

Still getting a daily steady trickle of cheques in the post as well so slowly slowly we are creeping up towards the target ;) 8-)

We finally managed to get all the money in from the raffle, donations and pledges for the Charity Fizzy so I popped along with my wife and sister-in-law to the first of the three beneficiary charities today.

University Hospital of North Staffs - Cancer Ward 201 (in memory of Peter "Macca" "Pan" MacDonald my wife's nephew who sadly passed away there last December)

Thank you again for all the donations and to those of you who bought/sold tickets or helped in any other way!!

Well we asked our local paper to do a follow on this and they didn't hesitate and this article appeared in yesterdays Sentinel (local daily Stoke-on-Trent paper) :D 8-)
