Hey Fizzless,

You may be joking but I used to run my purple fizzy on castrol r40 back in 1975, cost £1 a gallon.

Still love that smell ;-)

I use Castrol R for an initial lubricant when building an engine but wouldn't recommend using it on a long term basis, it is designed for racing use and leaves a lot of residue so you need to strip and clean the engine regularly.

Smells great when i start that freshly built motor though :)
