There's a 2-page special FS1-E Spotters Guide in the Decembers issue of CMM (p.21-22) which should be out any time now. Lots of useful reference material on most of the UK model fizyys and the Club also gets a mention as a contributor of some of the information courtesy of yours truly!

Yes the 2go bit looks a bit wrong, will get a copy when it comes out, it's always a good read.

There are lots of different opinions about the frame number sequences out there so I don't think there is a definitive 100% correct version of this? Not even YAMAHA know themselves it seems!!??

A lot of the model/frame number information in the Spotters guide article was collated using the current UK FS1-E Register but the more bikes are added the more accurate it becomes so very important that every member add all of their fizzys onto the database!

Being an S reg FS1-M 2GO drum brake owner I'm interested to know more about the range of frame numbers and when they were produced. I can see that the dates and numbers in the mag were just a copy of the EA wording so assume they ran from 1 Aug 77 to maybe June 1980 ??

My frame number is 2go - 200121 which I assume could be a fairly early production although it was actually registered in July 1978. Hoping as far as 2go's are concerned it might have some rarity (even though it does not have any pedals).

Any info appreciated.
