The grand total raised was

£4,401!!! :D :D

A fantastic result totally smashing our original target of £3,000.

Then fate took over and Russ from Fizzy Galore pulled Mark Scorers name out of the box who had always said he would donate the bike back into the pot if he won it! ;)

Keep your suggestions coming in of how to maximise how much money we can raise by selling the bike in some way??

Thank you again to you all for all the support and hard work by everybody to make this venture a roaring success that it has truly been, and I can't wait to hand over our cheque to our chosen charity very soon!

Billing was great :D And it was nice to have somebody that was there that won it :D I think that it would be good to see if Bonhams would auction it on behalf of the club maby see if you can grab a no commission job :D
I am now on the fizz and by god it feels good : D

hi candy, yes bonhams is a possibility although i still need input as one of my many thoughts is that if it went to bonhams or ebay as an auction it could be bought by a collector and never see the light of day again, i would prefer it to stay within the community and be used as it does now have a bit of interesting history with it which will always now be a talking point for the future owner but this is still only a thought
