As I was still in my PJ's he got to test ride.

After taking on board Marks advice and stripping the top end i found she had a broken rin,
despite numerous attempts by Flika to get hold of Mr 50cc tuning I took it on my own head and rang Rex Caunt, very helpfull indeedy and a new Puch maxi piston arrived on saturday morning and within an hour I was running on all one cylinder again sweet as a nut.

No misfire, no ticking over problems definatly no funny noises and a Popsi rider pulling a good 60+mph again.

Is this single or twin rings and how much, and what brand was this please There dont seem to be any on his website.

Piston is an Athena piston single ring sames as the dead one. (not a good piccy I am afraid but its all I have on file)
Says Athena FS1 on the invoice however it deffo said Puch Maxi on the box.
For the benifit of Flika its an A piston and there is a difference in the piston ports between the A & B I am told!

I am! I havent been over 40 yet and only pulled one wheelie and that was accidental.

It sound so much different we are all out for a long one Sunday so I will see how it behaves itself.
