Fs1e fork oil

Hello there i ahve just been rebuilding my 1974 ss forks and i was wondering what fork oil to replace the old oil with ? and also how much to replace it with !

Sounds like you need a Haynes Workshop Manual! ;)

154cc in the right hand fork stanchion
136cc in the left hand fork stanchion

I do have a Haynes manual but it doesn't specify what oil it just states "Castrol" !
I am now on the fizz and by god it feels good : D

Use 10/30 engine oil ,must be mineral not semi synthetic.I actually used 10/40 and its just as plush.I tried fork oil first but it offered no damping whatsover.Stick with the cheapo 10/30
