ive had some copy ones im kmh and longevity seems ok and i believe although not assembled by the same person as the mph ones the parts were sourced from the same factories so as charlie says they are ok for the money

As far as I am aware the differences in manufacture/appearance are as follows:-

* The needle is different (short end is longer)
* The dial face is not exact copy of the early FS1-E but a later model
* It has two "bolt" type fixings instead of the chrome pins
* The tenths are in black and not red
* The rubber bulb holder rubbers are straight and not "L"-shaped
* Not sure whether the calibration from kms to mph is 100% correct

The guy who restores all of my original fizzy speedos was approached to build these but he turned down the job as he did not want to put his name to them it seems!? :?

If you are on a tight budget for your rebuild I guess they are ok but if it was me I would save up for the real thing :!: ;)

I would say it depends on your budget, as there are numerous pattern parts on the market being used to restore bikes, some better than others, but ultimately this will affect the value of your bike so you pays your money and takes your choice. ;)
