Bugger. There used to be a company that sold s/h engines from Japan, I've fitted a couple in the past, they take a bit of messing around swapping bits over but are good.

cheers John, ive found a comp that will do the job and do mods to the engine with a 5 year garantee, they run to hot for the bearings ???

£2400 but they do collect it and bring it back

Yep ive done more than a few jap import engines,they used to be all low mileage lumps but you genarally had to fit the inlet and exhaust manifolds and rocker box from your old engine as they ran a really clean gas recurculation emmisions system for the market they came from.

I must have done 20 micras.
