Thank you again to Gaz and Russell for inviting me to the Northern Fizzy Run! :D 8-)

I had a great day on Sunday and I have already booked the whole weekend off for next years run, just let me know the dates guys!?

Really enjoyed the stop at the bike museum as well!! :D 8-)

I took a freshly restored DX with only 4 miles on the clock :o  , but it never missed a beat. :D Nice work on the engine rebuild by Fizzy Doctor 8)
(the DX is now for sale, see the for Sale section)

Sadly a couple of breakdowns on Saturday which had to go in the trailer back to the campsite - another superdream bit the dust running on one cylinder and a Baja fizz with a puncture again
Image
There was even a registration on an old Triumph with my name on it at the Museum - Gaz's dad pointed it out

Wayne decided he was going to pedal home but whilst still flying along in the pack- his 1970's flares caught his pedal changeover lever enough to engage the pedal drive - mayhem ensured and he sheared a pin and got a knackered pedal luckily he wasnt hurt and after a trip to the museum in the recovery van -we effected a repair so he could ride it back.

Sadly you might be right Per - middle age spread certainly hasnt helped  but I also think its more likely it failed through the heavy usage - I have worn it to death at all the bike events - so very sadly it has finally given up on me !
