Sprocket nut woes

Postby bobhenry999 » Thu Apr 28, 2011 5:53 pm

Guys,
Further to my earlier post regarding losing the nut off my front sprocket for the main drive chain, it gets curioser.
I ordered one online but it is far too big, the diameter of the threaded shaft that it would fit would have to be about 1.5cm, whereas the shaft that my sprocket is attached to is only 1cm in diameter, so I still can`t get the bike on the road during this nice weather all because of a daft nut.
Does anyone have any ideas or know where to get the right one. I have also ordered a tab washer for it, but I suspect that will also turn out to be wrong.
Please help guys.
Bob
